Tsune Naya, Bassplayer

-Bio-
Hi! My name is Tsune Naya!
I'm a bass player and also a composer who is living in Las Vegas. I play any kind of music with the electric bass.

In 1978, I was born in Japan. I started to play the guitar when I was 13 years old. My first favorite musician was Gerry McGee who is known as the lead guitarist of the Ventures.

I started to play the bass guitar and the upright bass from college. My first bass hero was Ray Brown who was one of the Jazz giants. In 1998, my career as professional bass player was started in Osaka, Japan.

After then, I moved to Tokyo and performed with lots of great musicians. In 2001, I produced the soundtrack of 'Yamano iriguchi' which was a children's book written by Yoshihisa Ozawa. You can listen to it here.
In 2004, I immigrated to the US to become a real good musician.

In 2005 I joined Ramana Vieira Group. Ramana is Portuguese 'Fado' vocalist. The performances were reported in local newspapers( Walnut Creek Journal Apr 7th, Daily Review ). And we played on TV show( Jazz with Franky at Comcast ch 26 ).

In 2007, I'm in Las Vegas! I believe that playing good music is the most important thing for my life. I want to have great music experiences all the time. If you're interested, please feel free to contact me!

I'm proud of Japanese culture and tradition. Also I would respect your culture and tradition.
